Ike was a great instructor - he definitely knows what he's talking about. I drove down from OKC because I not only wanted to learn the firearm basics, but also wanted to be sure I was doing it in an environment where I felt comfortable. I felt safe throughout the course and walked away with great information and new skills (as well as things to keep practicing). I would absolutely recommend this course!

Ike exceeded our expectations across the board. From the onset he worked with us to tailor the training to what was needed. We will certainly be returning as our journey continues. My partner started the session with a decent bit of anxiety around firearms. I was floored that after the session she left wanting to find a gun of her own. Ike is very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Found his approach very pragmatic. Just the mission statement of L4A resonated with me. I wanted to learn without an audience, and in an environment free of gatekeeping or judgment. Ike gave me all that and more. He’s clearly knowledgeable, skilled, and passionate. He’s also very approachable. I put off learning and gun ownership for a long time - mostly due to the intimidation factor. I never knew places like this even existed. Such a relief, and I’m excited to keep learning and growing my skills!

I booked an beginner lesson, and couldn't have asked for a better instructor than Ike! I started with zero firearm experience, so he walked me through safety procedures first, then the basics of how to pick up, handling, and grip on a dummy pistol before we entered the range. On the range he gave me good pointers on stance, grip, arm and head positioning then walked me through few drills at different target distances that helped me see how those pointers helped. The lesson was just shy of 90 minutes, but was dense with information both for shooting and handling, but also things like typical gun store etiquette, all without being overwhelming. I feel confident and excited to go back to range to keep practicing, which is exactly what I wanted out of this kind of intro lesson.

Ike is amazing and patient. I was able to practically overcome my phobia of loud noises and learn handgun basics like I was always interested in. His instructions were beginner friendly and easy to follow, even for someone easily distracted like myself. During the scheduling process he was also super flexible, reachable by email and phone, and understanding. Thanks L4A!

My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed working with Ike. He's easy to work with, comfortable to be around, and clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about firearms. I recently attended a shooting class with Ike at Liberty For All Training, and it was an incredible experience. I had just purchased two new firearms, an AR-15 and a small 380. I had never fired either of them before. In fact, I had never shot an AR at all. Ike was an exceptional instructor. He walked me through everything from proper stance, head and arm positioning, to posture and grip. He explained the functionality of each firearm in clear, beginner-friendly terms, including the differences in ammo types and how to care for the guns after use. We practiced shooting at targets, and Ike provided helpful critiques on my aim and technique. His feedback was easy to understand and immediately useful. He also led me through drills that improved my reaction to recoil and helped me get back on target quickly for more consistent shooting. What stood out most was Ike’s deep knowledge and passion for teaching. His enthusiasm is contagious, and he has a gift for guiding beginners in a way that builds confidence and skill. I highly recommend Ike and Liberty For All Training to anyone looking to learn or improve their shooting technique. It was a fantastic experience!

I met with Ike from Liberty4All yesterday at RifleGear in The Colony to brush up on my skills and learn new techniques. Ike was on time and ready to go. I appreciated that we chatted beforehand about safety protocols and so he could get to know my level of experience and history with firearms. Ike was super patient, and it turns out I had more to learn than I thought! It had been a long time since I practiced with my pistol, but Ike had excellent patience and made sure I was retaining the information he gave me along the way. I highly recommend Ike and L4A to anyone, whether they are a beginner or just want to refine their skills. I will definitely meet with Ike again!
