Judgment-free private firearm instruction for Dallas — built for first-timers, women, and LGBTQ+ shooters who want to learn without the gatekeeping.
Dallas has no shortage of gun ranges. What it's short on is instruction designed for people who don't already feel at home in one. Liberty for All Training Co. exists for exactly that gap: private, patient, genuinely welcoming firearm lessons where nobody assumes what you know, questions are encouraged, and the culture war stays outside the door. Students come from Oak Lawn, Uptown, Lake Highlands, East Dallas, and everywhere in between.
Sessions are held at RifleGear in The Colony — roughly 25–30 minutes up the Dallas North Tollway or I-35E from central Dallas — at a modern, clean indoor range. Everything is provided: loaner handguns, ammunition, targets, eye and ear protection, and the range fee itself. You bring an ID and closed-toe shoes.
Founder and lead instructor Ike Hajinazarian built L4A after watching the shooting world leave newcomers feeling out of place — especially anyone who doesn't match the stereotype of a “typical” gun owner. The result is a lesson that starts with safety fundamentals in plain language, moves to live fire only when you're ready, and ends with you hitting paper and grinning about it. Many students book as couples or friend pairs; groups up to three train together in one session.
