Liberty for All Training Co. is based right here in Plano. If you've been thinking about learning to shoot — for home defense, personal confidence, or pure curiosity — but the idea of walking into a gun range cold feels intimidating, this is the lesson built for you. Every session is private or small-group, paced to your comfort level, and taught without ego, pressure, or politics.
Lessons are held at RifleGear Range in The Colony — about 15–20 minutes from most of Plano straight up Sam Rayburn Tollway or SH-121. Whether you're coming from Legacy West, Willow Bend, East Plano, or downtown, you can be on the firing line within a half hour of leaving your driveway.
You'll start with a relaxed safety walkthrough — how a firearm works, how to handle it, and exactly what to expect on the range. Then it's hands-on, one step at a time: grip, stance, sight picture, and your first controlled shots on paper. Most first-timers are shocked at how quickly the nerves fade once someone explains everything without talking down to them. Sessions run 60–120 minutes and everything is included in the price — no gear to buy, no hidden range fees.
