Private, beginner-friendly firearm lessons for Richardson residents — taught in a judgment-free environment where everyone is welcome.
Richardson is home to the Telecom Corridor, UT Dallas, and one of the most diverse populations in North Texas — and a lot of people here have quietly been meaning to learn how to safely handle a firearm. If walking into a range cold feels intimidating, this is the lesson built for you: private or small-group, paced to your comfort, taught without ego or politics.
Lessons are held at RifleGear Range in The Colony — roughly 20–25 minutes from most of Richardson via the President George Bush Turnpike west to SH-121. From CityLine, the Arapaho DART corridor, or the UTD area, you can be on the firing line in under half an hour.
Every session starts off the firing line with a relaxed safety walkthrough — how the firearm works, how to handle it, what to expect from the noise and recoil. Then it’s hands-on at your pace: grip, stance, sight picture, and your first controlled shots on paper. Sessions run 60–120 minutes with everything included — no gear to buy, no hidden fees, no assumptions about what you already know.
